Sale of puppies ALLOWED in retail pet stores after controversial new law in Indiana

Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb signed the controversial Canine Standard of Care Bill into law, overturning 21 local ordinances, several in Lake County, prohibiting the sale of dogs at retail pet stores. Animal welfare advocates say Indiana shelters, already overburdened and struggling with over-population, will be negatively impacted by the law.
