The mayor of San Francisco has hailed US vice-president Kamala Harris as "incredibly strong, talented and creative" ahead of November's election. London Breed said that Ms Harris' own career path had inspired her to "succeed", saying she "can't think of anyone better" to become president. Speaking to ITV News, Ms Breed went on to describe the personal side of Ms Harris, recalling how she visited her grandmother while she was in a care home.
