Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsoutakis said he would consider limiting cruise ship numbers on the island of Santorini in a bid to combat overcrowding there - on top of measures already being rolled out to restrict short term lets in Greece. It’s the latest destination to suffer from an overwhelming number of visitors, as excessive tourism continues to plague many of Europe's hot spots.
