Satisfactory Crop Over season for entertainers

Local entertainers have had a satisfactory 50th Crop Over season. That's according to President of the Entertainment Association of Barbados, Rudy Maloney. He says artistes and musicians were able to perform at multiple events throughout the season which officially ended with the Soca 5.O show on Tuesday. Mr. Maloney tells CBC News songs perceived as favourites were played multiple times on radio stations and the faces of particular artistes were regulars at Crop Over events. He says, the Association is now hoping that more artistes are given opportunities to perform overseas.
