Saudi Arabia talks on Ukraine are 'big step forward', says minister

Housing minister Alex Norris joins Sky News Breakfast with Wilfred Frost to discuss reports that the UK is advising Ukraine on peace talks. It’s understood that Jonathan Powell, Sir Keir Starmer’s national security adviser, visited Ukraine this weekend to brief President Volodymyr Zelenskyy ahead of Tuesday's talks with the US. Mr Norris stated, "Our role is to ensure Ukraine is in the strongest position possible. Peace will only be achieved through that strength, which is why we provided the aid package last week. We've also been engaging in significant diplomatic efforts with our European counterparts." The minister expressed his "pleasure" with developments in Saudi Arabia this week, calling it a "big step forward."
