Saving the African grey parrot - Fighting illegal trade and habitat loss

The African Grey Parrot, famed for its intelligence and exceptional mimicry, faces a dire future. Habitat loss, poaching, and the cruel pet trade have driven this iconic species to the brink of extinction. In response, the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife, and Antiquities, in collaboration with World Animal Protection and Nature-Uganda, organized a stakeholders' symposium to devise strategies for saving the parrot.
