Schoolchildren encouraged to attend Agrofest

Schoolchildren are being encouraged to attend Agrofest even though it falls during the mid-term break. It is believed this is perhaps the best time since it won't disrupt school activities. Chief Executive Officer of the Barbados Agricultural Society James Paul addressed the sponsors and exhibitors at a site meeting at Queen's Park. After observing one minute's silence for the passing of agricultural stalwarts Gregory 'Big G' Yearwood and Alvin Romeo, the Agriculture official told the gathering new elements have been added to Agrofest 2024 and it is a show for everyone.
