Scientists Develop Robot Which Can Drive Regular Cars | WION Podcast
Scientists at the University of Tokyo have developed a humanoid robot named Musashi that can drive regular cars like humans. Designed with 39 joints, 74 muscles, and pressure sensors, Musashi mimics human movements to operate pedals, steering, and indicators. Equipped with high-resolution cameras and AI, it detects pedestrians, traffic lights, and obstacles. While currently limited to slow speeds and basic maneuvers, Musashi marks a major step in robotics and autonomous driving technology. Researchers believe such robots may eventually work as versatile drivers for non-autonomous vehicles. #robot #drivecar #wionpodcast About Channel: WION The World is One News examines global issues with in-depth analysis.
