SECRETARY TO TREASURY, DR. RAMATHAN GGOOBI, FAILS TO ACCOUNT FOR 1.4 TRILLION SUPPLEMENTARY BUDGE

The Permanent Secretary and Secretary to Treasury, Dr. Ramathan Ggoobi has failed to account for the 1.4 trillion supplementary budget that exited the treasury as supplementary expenditure in the financial year 2022/2023. Dr. Ggoobi and his technical staff had appeared before the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament to substantiate on the Auditor General’s audit queries on the consolidated financial statement of the financial year ended June 2023.
