Security guards shot at downtown Los Angeles shopping mall

Two security guards were shot Monday night at a downtown LA mall. The guards were trying to stop a shoplifter when they were shot near a Target, police said. Witnesses described a frightening scene at the FIGat7th shopping mall with bullets whistling past. One of the victims was in critical condition. No arrests were reported Tuesday morning.
