SENATOR SHENELLA GOVIA TAKES ON NEW ROLE AS LEADER OF GOVERNMENT BUSINESS

Senators have congratulated newly-minted Leader of Government Business in Parliament’s Upper House, Senator Shenella Govia. She assumed the role during Tuesday’s sitting. She was elevated to that role following the resignation of former majority leader Samantha Marshall. Senator Govia expressed gratitude to her predecessor.
