Senator upbeat about relations with African bank

Barbados given its reputation as headquarters for many international agencies and Minister of Energy and leader of Government Business in the Senate, Senator Lisa Cummins expect others to follow suit and set up offices. She is upbeat about relations with the African Export-Import Bank. She signalled her support for the African Export-Import Bank Bill which was brought before the Upper House Wednesday. This Bill provides for the implementation of the agreement for the establishment of a partnership between member states of CARICOM and the agreement between Barbados and the bank concerning the location of the Caribbean Community office on island.
