Senegal president visits Sahel nations: New leader's first trip to Mali & Burkina Faso

Senegal's new President Bassirou Diomaye Faye is on his first visit to Mali and Burkina Faso. He’s hoping to strengthen ties with the two states, both of which announced their withdrawal from the regional bloc -ECOWAS. Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger are all under military rule.
