Seven dead following wolf attacks in northern India | ABS-CBN News

At least seven villagers, including children, were killed in India's northern Bahraich city after being attacked by man-eater wolves in the past two months, a district administrative official said on Tuesday (August 27). Residents in several villages of northern Uttar Pradesh state have been living with the fear of continuous wolf attacks for the past two months, officials said. District authorities including forest officials, and security forces, used drones, and set traps on Wednesday (August 28) to trace and tranquilize the large canines. Forest officials made announcements across villages to take precautionary measures, asking villagers to sleep indoors for protection.
