Several tornadoes spotted in Florida ahead of Hurricane Milton’s landfall

Several tornadoes have been seen further inland of Florida ahead of Hurricane Milton’s expected landfall. The storm is currently sweeping across the Gulf of Mexico however the fringe of the storm is battering communities between Tampa and further south to Fort Myers. This comes less than two weeks after Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc on the state.
