Severe stormy weather forecast for Christmas Eve

Heavy rainfall, strong winds, hail and possible supercells are expected on Christmas Eve. The severe stormy weather will impact eastern states in particular. There is a chance of storms throughout the entirety of Sunday. Storms are expected in the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra. Wet, windy weather is also expected on Christmas Day.
