Markenzy Lapointe, US attorney for the Southern District of Florida, says Ryan Wesley Routh, the suspect in the apparent assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, has been charged with two counts, including possession of a firearm while a convicted felon and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
