It seems as if some of Basdeo Panday’s wellwishers skipped SAPA and instead waited for hours at the Shore of Peace to see him for one last time. Akash Samaroo brings us the experience at the cremation site, and how Mr. Panday’s daughters stepped up to somewhat alter a now patriarchal tradition.
