Shrinking revenue, rising costs threatening sustainability of Japan's museums

Japan is home to thousands of museums, but shrinking revenue and rising costs are threatening their sustainability. This, despite a record tourism boom. Some are now turning to alternative concepts and strategies. According to the Cultural Affairs Agency, donations make up less than 7% of museums' income in Japan -- compared to as much as 38% in the US. Michiyo Ishida reports.
