Singapore is set to have a new hydrogen turbine up and running by 2029. It will be more cost-efficient and likely lead to savings for consumers. Energy firm PacificLight Power received the green light to build, own and operate the facility. Located on Jurong Island, it can generate at least 600 megawatts of cleaner energy. This is enough to power more than 860,000 four-room flats for a year.
