Singapore's volunteering rate back to pre-pandemic levels, but time spent and amount given down

The volunteering rate in Singapore has rebounded to pre-pandemic levels. Latest findings by the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) show more people volunteered and donated last year, compared to its last study in 2021. However, median volunteer hours fell to 9.5 hours, compared to 12 hours previously. The average amount donated fell by half to $100. Miss Ng Soek Mun, director of knowledge and insights at the NVPC, shared more about giving behaviour in Singapore.
