Singapore aims to grow AI talent pool to 15,000 over next five years

New research and academic programmes, as well as funding for training, will be rolled out to grow Singapore's AI talent pool. Singapore intends to grow its pool of AI talent to 15,000 over the next five years. It's rolling out a new accelerated Masters programme with local universities. Another S$20 million will go into training and scholarships for students. Singapore is also seeking to invite global experts to collaborate on projects. Marcus Tan reports.
