About 160,000 asthma attacks in Singapore are expected by 2040, with more people with the condition ending up in hospital each year. A study has found that up to US$77 million could be saved if admission rates are kept at below 40 for every 100,000 people. Dr Lim Hui Fang, visiting consultant at the National University Hospital, and Ms See Weili, an asthma patient, shared more about adult asthma and asthma hospitalisations.
