Singapore dedicates third Friday of every May as Drug Victims Remembrance Day

Singapore will dedicate the third Friday of every May as Drug Victims Remembrance Day. Schools and institutes of higher learning will organise various activities to spread the message on the ills of drug addiction to youths. This initiative was hatched by the Inter-Ministry Committee on Drug Prevention for Youths that was formed last year. Aslam Shah reports.
