Singapore economy: Barclays economist breaks down advanced GDP data
Singapore's economy grew better-than-expected in the fourth quarter, but at a slower pace than the previous quarter. Advanced data released Thursday (Jan 2) shows GDP rose 4.3 per cent on-year in the October to December quarter, slightly higher than analyst estimates. Full-year growth was lifted to 4 per cent, exceeding the official forecast of an expansion of around 3.5 per cent.
