The Ministry of Education said it is investing in each Singaporean not just for the first 15 years of school, but also for the next 50 years. This lifetime commitment means an investment of at least S$300,000 for each person. Education Minister Chan Chun Sing said older Singaporeans aged 40 and above -- who have left school for a longer period of time -- will require more substantial skills reboot. That's what the SkillsFuture Level-Up Programme is for, along with the additional S$4,000 credit. Nikhil Khattar reports.
