Malaysia’s King, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar, attended the sitting of Singapore's parliament on Tuesday (May 7) as part of his two-day state visit to the country. Speaker of Parliament Seah Kian Peng said in his introductory remarks that the Sultan's visit was "timely" and a precursor to "even stronger ties between Singapore and Malaysia".
