Singapore sees significant opportunities for collaboration with Shanghai: SM Lee

Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong said Singapore recognises significant opportunities for collaboration with Shanghai. He also stressed the need for both sides to intensify efforts, given the challenges of the current international environment. Mr Lee made these remarks during a meeting with Shanghai party secretary Chen Jining today, as part of his ongoing visit to China. As of last year, Singapore became Shanghai's largest foreign investor. The city is also Singapore's second-largest investment destination in China, after Jiangsu province.
