Dans Asie / Singapour

Singapore is embarking on a national mental health study that will involve 40,000 children. The study, the biggest of its kind, is being done because there is a lack of data about mental health conditions of children in Singapore. It also aims to uncover the prevalence of such issues and better plan services to meet patient needs. The Institute of Mental Health will lead the 10-year study. CNA speaks to Associate Professor Daniel Fung, CEO of the Institute of Mental Health, and co-investigator of the BRAVE study. He talks about how this research helps with the shift from reactive to proactive mental health support and intervention.
