Singapore Transport Minister S Iswaran charged with corruption, obstruction of justice
Latest updates: S Iswaran has been handed 27 charges, including corruption, obtaining a valuable thing as a public servant and obstructing justice. He has pleaded not guilty. Mr Iswaran has resigned as Transport Minister, West Coast GRC MP and PAP member. He will return all monies received as salary and allowances since the CPIB investigations started in July 2023, according to the Prime Minister's Office. - Singapore's Transport Minister S Iswaran arrived at the State Courts on Thursday (Jan 18) morning, following a probe by the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau. He was arrested on Jul 11, 2023, to assist with an investigation and subsequently released on bail.
