Singapore, UK co-lead first Asia-Pacific shared mission to space
Singapore and the United Kingdom will co-lead Asia Pacific's first shared mission to space. The satellite launch will allow players in the region, including Thailand, Taiwan and the Philippines, to test technologies in space at a lower cost. At the Global Space and Technology Convention, Singapore firms also signed global deals. This includes local satellite communications firm Addvalue, which will provide systems for the world's first manned private space station, built by American company Vast. Eugene Chow with more.
