Sir Keir Starmer lambasted over migrant crisis

Sir Keir Starmer has been critised after his government revealed that they have decided against adopting the Italian-style approach of intercepting migrant boats in the channel and turning them back to France. According to Immigration Minister Dame Angela Eagle, the French don't accept that migrants should always be returned to them. If incidents happen in French territorial waters, they go back to France. If they happen in British territorial waters, we bring them into safety in the UK. Sky News host Liz Storer discussed the decision made by Keir Starmer’s government to not turn back migrant boats. “The UK just seems to be so reticent to do anything about what is a ginormous problem,” Ms Storer said. “Nigel Farage must be ripping his hair out with this latest announcement.”
