Sky News report on transmission lines plan results in win for landholders

A Sky News report into transmission lines linked to renewables in New South Wales has helped secure a win for a local landowner whose property was to be affected. The revised route for the Hunter Transmission Project now affects 68 per cent fewer landholders, but the fight with the NSW government continues for others. The plan is now to build a substation at a former timber plantation site instead of having the transmission lines curve around to Eraring.
