Slain Edmonton security guard only worked 3 days before shooting
Harshandeep Singh, a security guard who was killed while patrolling an Edmonton apartment building last week, is being remembered as someone full of life. He had only been on the job for three days when he was gunned down and died at the hospital. The 20-year-old victim moved to the city a year and a half ago, and was enrolled at Norquest College. A family friend says he was a business student, but had dreams of becoming a police officer one day. Now, the family is raising many questions about the training Singh received before he started on the job. The family is still heartbroken — but hopes changes can come from his death.
