The amount going on within the British Royal Family has caught everyone on the “back foot” and makes you query if a “slimmed down” royal family can manage unforeseen circumstances, Sky News host Caroline Di Russo says. “We have been, rightly so, sidetracked with the Danish proclamation over the last couple of weeks but, as always, there has still been plenty of British royal news bubbling away,” Ms Di Russo said. “The new official portrait for King Charles has been released – Elizabeth Debicki, Australian, won a Golden Globe for her portrayal of Princess Diana in the series ‘The Crown’. “Meghan and Harry weren’t invited to the Golden Globes, but they were ridiculed by Comedian Jo Coy in his speech – Harry dropped his libel case against Associated Newspapers – Princess of Wales was admitted to hospital for abdominal surgery – The King has been diagnosed with an enlarged prostate. “It really has caught everyone on the back foot and makes you query whether a slimmed-down royal family can manage in the event of unforeseen circumstances.”
