Smart targeting and clear graduation pathways signal a new era in social protection

At the recent launch of Saint Lucia's Civil Society Platform for Social Protection, officials highlighted three key innovations that promise to transform the nation's approach to poverty reduction: the updated National Social Protection Policy (NSPP) and Action Plan; a new strategy for graduation from Social Assistance; and an improved Saint Lucia National Eligibility Targeting Tool (SL Net).
