Smiggle CEO sacked for ‘serious misconduct’

Smiggle CEO John Cheston has been sacked by retail billionaire Solomon Lew’s Premier Investments for “serious misconduct,” says Sky News Business reporter Ed Boyd. “Mr Cheston had been the chief executive of Smiggle for more than a decade, but his contract was abruptly terminated this morning,” Mr Boyd said. “Three months ago, Mr Cheston agreed to join jewellery retailer Lovisa as its new chief executive, starting in mid-2025.”
