SOCIAL PROTECTION REPORT: NEW PAYMENT SYSTEM FOR ELDERLY GRANT RECOMMENDED

One of the limitations affecting the disbursement of funds meant for Social Assistance Grants for Empowerment is the Mobile mode of Payment. The Commissioner in Charge of Disabilities at the Ministry of Gender, Labor and Social Development Prosper Muhumuza agrees with the idea of shifting to electronic payment system. This was highlighted during the dissemination of IFMS Feasibility study for possible deployment in Social Protection Programs and Grievance Redress Management Review Reports.
