South Korean authorities who entered impeached president Yoon Suk Yeol's residence early Friday (Jan 3) to arrest him were confronted by presidential security forces inside. It was unclear whether Yoon's bodyguards would try to stop him from being arrested. The current arrest warrant is viable until Jan 6 and gives investigators only 48 hours to hold Yoon after he is arrested.
