South Korea plane crash: Data extracted from first Jeju Air black box

South Korea's transport ministry said investigators have extracted data from the cockpit voice recorder of a plane that fatally crashed on Sunday and will convert it into an audio file, hopefully offering critical information to try to explain the few minutes that led up to the crash. Meanwhile, South Korea's acting President Choi Sang-mok said immediate action must be taken if a special inspection of all Boeing 737-800 aircraft operated in the country finds any issues as authorities ramp up a probe into the deadly air crash. All 175 passengers and four of six crew were killed on Sunday when the Jeju Air jet belly-landed at Muan International Airport in the country's southwest and slammed into a sand-and-concrete embankment at the end of the runway, where it burst into flames.
