South Korea’s economy rattled by political turmoil after martial law decree
South Korea's political upheaval over President Yoon Suk Yeol’s short-lived martial law declaration is putting a damper on year-end festivities. Businesses in the food and hospitality sectors are seeing a drop in takings during what is usually one of the busiest periods, capping off a disappointing year for the economy.
