South Korea's former defence minister Kim Yong-hyun has been formally arrested on insurrection charges related to President Yoon Suk Yeol's brief declaration of martial law last week, which plunged the country into chaos. This comes as the opposition coalition is pressing for a second impeachment vote this week, amid reports that some People’s Power Party members will defy a party boycott and vote to dismiss Yoon.
