South Korean students take crucial college entrance exam
More than 500,000 South Korean students sat for an annual college entrance exam. The highly competitive exam is considered a life-defining event for many high school students, as a degree from a prestigious university is seen as the bare minimum for securing one of the coveted but limited corporate jobs in Asia's fourth-largest economy. The exam encompasses subjects ranging from languages to mathematics and science. Inside the classrooms, students sat as examiners distributed the exam papers. To help reduce traffic congestion, stock market opened an hour late, so that students were able to reach examination halls on time. - Report from Reuters Subscribe to the ABS-CBN News channel! - http://bit.ly/TheABSCBNNews Watch full episodes on iWantTFC for FREE here: http://iwanttfc.com Visit our website at http://news.abs-cbn.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/abscbnNEWS Twitter: https://twitter.com/abscbnnews Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/abscbnnews
