Spanish festival featuring egg slogging

Revellers in Spain have slogged each other with eggs and flour in a Valencia town to celebrate the Day of the Holy Innocents. The 'Els Enfarinats' festival features a mock coup where locals dress in military uniform and use baking ingredients as weapons. Celebrated in the town of Ibi, the messy battle is preceded by locals storming the mayor's office and establishing absurd laws. The practice is celebrated each year and dates back two centuries.
