Speaker Among urges CAF reassessment of Namboole Stadium

Speaker of Parliament Anita Among has directed the Ministry of Education and Sports to write to Confederation of African Football officials, urging them to return to Uganda and reassess the suitability of Namboole Stadium to host World Cup qualifiers on June 3rd and June 10th. Recently, CAF officials visited Uganda to assess the stadium's suitability for hosting World Cup qualifier games and recommended that the facility did not meet the required standards. The government approved 97 billion shillings for the refurbishment of the stadium.
