Speculation Joe Biden could resign following his recent absences

US President Joe Biden has sparked speculation after he has continued to stay out of the public eye for five days since announcing he had Covid last week. Biden has since then endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to replace him as the Democrat nominee after he announced he was dropping out of the race via tweet on Sunday. Sky News Washington Correspondent Annelise Nielsen claimed that Biden could be potentially stepping down following his lack of appearance recently in the public eye. “Biden could be potentially stepping down the fact that he didn’t go on camera to make this announcement,” she said.
