Spirit Airlines flight shot while landing in Haiti

A Spirit Airlines plane flying from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Haiti was diverted after it was struck by gunfire while attempting to land in Port-au-Prince, officials said. The flight was diverted and landed safely in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The airline said one flight attendant was being checked by medical crews due to minor injuries.
