On 3rd November, a grenade attack occurred in a busy market area of Srinagar, injuring twelve civilians. Questions were raised about the security measures in place, as the area is highly guarded and under constant surveillance. The Jammu and Kashmir police have now arrested three Over Ground Workers (OGWs) from the Lashkar-e-Taiba, all from the Kharajpura area of Srinagar. The police believe this to be a significant achievement, as the case was solved quickly.
