St. Benedict's College move into first position in the Trinidad and Tobago Secondary School's Premiership. The La Romaine Lions defeated Fatima College 3-1 in Round 8 at the Mahaica Sporting Complex in Point Fortin on the weekend. Fatima opened the scoring thanks to a 30th minute goal by Micaiah Leach, until Derrel Garcia found the equaliser minutes before the break. St. Benedict's took the lead when Garcia got his second from the penalty spot, to make it 2-1. Ethan Trotman would seal the victory with a third goal in the 80th minute, which now sees them sitting on top the standings on 19 points, with one game in hand.
