St. Benedict's College Finishes Second In KFC Goodwill International Football Series

T&T's National Intercol Champions, St. Benedict's College, finished as runners-up in the 2024 KFC Goodwill International Football Series after losing 8-7 on penalties to Guyana's Chase Academy. Following a hard-fought, goalless draw during regulation time, missed penalties by Ruben Phillip, Kaylon Cayenne, and captain Derrel Garcia ultimately led to Chase Academy winning the title for the first time in the tournament's five-year history. The defeat for St. Benedict's College sees the La Romaine Lions finishing runners-up for the third time.
